The neckerchief
The 1st Kotor Bay Sea Scouts neckerchief pays tribute to maritime heritage through its "Jeans" fabric and Union Jack-inspired blue, white, and red stripes.
The choice of "Jeans," derived from "Bleu de Gênes" (blue of Genoa), connects the neckerchief to its 16th-century Italian origins. Genoese sailors wore sturdy blue cotton trousers, the precursor to modern denim, making it a fitting symbol for the Sea Scouts' seafaring spirit.
